During the second portion of the reflection, each student in turn talked about why they choose the symbol and the color they put on the mural.  We asked, "Has anything changed after hearing everyone's stories?  Do you feel differently?"

The first portion of the reflection was a "walk and talk" style reflection of the complete mural.  We asked, "What do you notice? What do you see? Is there anything that surprised you?

Lastly, we asked, "Looking at the other murals and mosaic works we've seen, what do we want to say with our mural?  How will we show what this mural is about?"
The students wrote their ideas and then voted on what they wanted to say in the four different reserved spaces on the mural.
