STUDENT PROCESS
All the students who were able to participate did a wonderful job completing the process and the mural/mosaic. All had unique and powerful stories to share. We wanted to show three individual student examples start to finish to better illustrate the process.
STUDENT #1


Student #1 started by ideating their symbol using the ideation sheet:

This is the symbol that they choose, which they then made a vector file and cut out using the laser cutter:
Next, by using the ideation sheets choose a color to symbolize a complex story or feeling surrounding the topic of immigration:
