Immigration and Social Justice: Our Stories, Our Reflections

For this lesson we will turn into mosaicists' and not only create the space for the mosaic but also create reflective tiles to add using a laser cutter & Adobe Illustrator in the computer lab!

Over Spring Break Please begin thinking about your feelings on immigration, start finding or thinking of silhouettes/symbols/images that you associate with your immigration story. Also interview some members of your family to start discussing family experiences and cultural backgrounds.

​

Do not forget we will be painting! Wear clothes you feel comfortable getting messy, we do have aprons in the studio to use if you wish but they do not cover everything. ​
